Self-Catering Studio, Ullapool

Situated just above the village of Ullapool is Braes. From our house there are views overlooking Loch Broom and to the surrounding mountains including An Teallach, Beinn Dearg and the Fannichs. We have a large garden with a few hens and are located in a quiet residential area. It takes just a few minutes by car or about 20 minutes on foot to reach the centre of the village. In the village there are many shops, restaurants, swimming pool, historic museum, music in the pubs and boat trips to the Summer Isles. From our house there is direct walking access to the Ullapool hill tracks and areas beyond. Around Ullapool there are unlimited walking opportunities for all abilities.

Our newly converted self-catering studio sleeps two to three (1 double bed and 1 single bed) separated by a ¾ wall and curtains. The main room is large, bright and comfortable. There is a well-equipped kitchenette, bathroom with bath and shower, an enclosed sun porch and an open sun deck with a relaxing hammock. There is private access to the studio.

If you are interested in walking while visiting Ullapool we can offer you advice on areas to go, maps needed and hints on local weather. We also offer guided walking with a qualified guide - from an easy stroll to mountain walking (half or full day available). Since 1986 we have run walking holidays in the NW Highlands and know this area intimately.

We have fresh organic eggs and garden veggies to purchase, when available.
