A Traditional 19th Century stone built house situated in the centre of Ullapool. Guest accommodation is comprised of five bedrooms, two of which are en-suite, and one which hosts an antique four poster double bed. All rooms have access to a lounge with real coal fire.

To start your day well, a full traditional Highland Breakfast is offered with many choices including vegetarian, fully cooked breakfast with the famous Isle of Lewis Black Pudding, real porridge, a selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts and as much toast as you can eat.

Tigh Na Mara as its Gaelic name suggests is superbly located by the sea with unrivalled views. The traditional stone built house is situated on the south facing front street of Ullapool. It sleeps 7 and comprises a lounge, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, ground floor toilet and first floor bathroom. There is a small-secluded garden to the rear and off road parking for 2 vehicles at the front of the property, well behaved dog welcome, cot available. As you can see from the photos above we have stunning uninterrupted views of Lochbroom and surrounding scenery. A two-minute walk will take you to the centre of the village where there is a wide range of amenities, cafeterias fine restaurants etc. Ullapool also provides access to ferries, boat and bus tours along with access to many outdoor activities.

The property is suitably fitted with all the necessary domestic appliances: electric cooker, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, shower, television etc. Bed linen is provided. The central heating is total control and the electricity is included in the cost of the let except for the bedroom panel heaters for which there is a meter. Tigh Na Mara is a non smoking property.

The Houses are part of a completely modernised listed sandstone property, originally built in 1871.

They are located in a quiet conservation area near to the shops, restaurants, the harbour, sea and hills.

Ullapool was a planned village developed by the British Fisheries Society and it celebrated its bicentennial in 1988

Booking Details Lets are generally for Full Weeks only, Saturday to Saturday Electricity is chargeable extra from the meter. A deposit of £50 per week is required on confirmation of booking Lets are from 4pm (Saturday) day of arrival to 10am (Saturday) day of departure.

Duvets & Bed Linen are provided. In each house there are Fitted Carpets throughout, except Kitchens & Toilets which have a fitted Cushioned Vinyl on the floors. In each house there is an Electric Cooker, Fridge, Automatic Washing Machine, Kettle, Iron & Electric Towel Rail. There are colour TV’s. The houses are all electric on economy tariff with off-peak storage heaters and electric fires.

The houses have gardens at the front and rear under grass. There is ample parking space. Towels can be provided at an extra charge per person. If required, please advise when booking.

Our self contained flat is located in a quiet conservation area in the center of the village, near shops, restaurants, harbour, leisure centre, swimming pool and hills. Ullapool also has a golf course with clubs for hire.

The apartment is completely self-contained on the upper floor of our Highland home, with its’ own front door. It has been newly decorated and furnished to a very high standard.
